A selection of nine essays based on themes found in Bahá'u'lláh's Most Holy Book, the Kitáb-i-Aqdas.
'Two brothers, one stationed in mathematics and the other in the humanities, construct an insider's exposition of a core concept of the Kitáb-i-Aqdas of Bahá'u'lláh: all the fabric of the universe is a distinct and exact expression of the divine will, a perfect articulation of God's love... This diptych is a well-written and thickly textured introduction to the premier Bahá'í holy book. Perhaps the most startling gem is a manifestation of the thesis of the book, in this case a profound and rigorous, scientific proof of the existence of God. This is essential reading for those standing at the interface of science and religion, or for those who would stand there in peace.'
James F. Strange, Professor of Religious Studies, University of South Florida
'William and John Hatcher offer compelling arguments for the existence, unity and uniqueness of God, and for God's role in the evolution of the human species. The arguments... must be confronted by anyone who takes these questions seriously. They show that no one path to God can be complete... To one who is not a Bahá'í, it is comforting that at least one major religious tradition sustains this conclusion. The Hatchers' very Bahá'í strategy of pressing forward simultaneously on diverse paths combines intellectual rigour with religious humility. I recommend it strongly.'
William C. Lane, Author and Lawyer, Washington DC
